Special Interest Group on Services Industry (SIG-SI)

Companies increasingly like to focus on their core expertise area and use IT services to address all their business needs. As a result, Services Industry accounts for a major part of the global GDP today.

The Special Interest Group on Cloud Computing (SIG-SI) provides a platform for the group members to exchange information, conduct professional collaborations, and promote research and application innovations around the world in the field of Services Industry enabling technologies and solutions. The scope of SIG-SI includes all vertical industry services and domain-specific services, as well as the emerging service enabling technologies.

The SIG-SI promotes creative thinking, long-term visions, and innovative methodologies to respond to the emerging Services Industry. The supporting conference is the World Congress on Services (SERVICES, ServicesCongress.org).
