Special Interest Group on BlockChain (SIG-BC)

The applications of blockchain have been extended from the financial field to the Internet of Things, intelligent manufacturing, supply chain management, and many other fields. The blockchain is creating a new technological innovation and industrial change on a global scale.

The Special Interest Group on Blockchain (SIG-BC) will define its scope, conduct major technical activities, and create impacts to the society. SIG-BC provides a platform for the group members to exchange information, conduct professional collaborations, and promote research and application innovations around the world in the field of blockchain. The key technical aspects include but not limited to Blockchain Technology and Platform, as well as Blockchain Solutions and Business Models.

The SIG-BC promotes creative thinking, long-term visions, and innovative methodologies to respond to the emerging blockchain technologies. The supporting conference is the International Conference on Blockchain (ICBC, blockchain1000.org).
