The first Nordic OASIS Open Standards Workshop
day takes place on the Tuesday of ECOWS 2005. Mr. Peter Roden, Director
of Technology Development at OASIS will be chairing this day, which is
dedicated to issues of open standards in the software industry.

Meet Erik Rissanen, Swedish Institute of Computer Science, he will outline the latest developments in XACML, and present highligths from work conducted in the Technical Committee for XACML in OASIS.

Martin Forsberg, AMNIS, will speak about the E-invoicing revolution made possible with UBL and ebXML, experiences
from Swedish “Swed-Invoice” initiative (Svefaktura). The local
authorities, county councils and government authorities have created an
electronic invoice standard based on UBL and ebXML. The means of
document transportation are also defined using ebXML Message Service
specification. Martin Forsberg will discuss the implications of the
development of Swedish subsets and customizations.
