Eurostep to speak at ECOWS

Peter Bergström is one of Eurostep’s most experienced project managers and senior consultants. He is one of the leading experts on SGML (ISO 8879), XML (W3C), and PLCS (ISO 10303-239).

Peter Bergström will talk about standards for PLM in the Extended Enterprise, how sharing information in the extended enterprise requires standards, both for information structures and access methods. When the scope is PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) the requirement is even stronger. ISO, W3C, OASIS and others have all been working to putsuch standards in place, and this presentation focuses on some successful experiences in combining and applying these standards for PLM in extended enterprise.
