DIP (Data Information and Process Integration with Semantic Web Services) is an EC integrated project. It aims to implement Semantic Web Service (SWS) technology in a number of application sectors such as e-Banking, Telecoms and e-Government.
The project is 18 months into a 3 year cycle and the project now has a clearly defined architectural basis for case study prototype implementations. WSMO, WSML and WSMX are the core technologies. By the end of the project the defined e-Banking, Telecoms and e-Government applications will be automated and augmented by Semantic Web Service technologies.
